I also have a 16 year old daughter with constant abdominal pain.Hers started 5 weeks ago.At first I thought it was her appendix,she had all the symptoms.That was ruled out.She still has severe to moderate pain all day,every day.At times the pain gets real intense and lasts for a couple minutes.But she still has the constant abdominal pain.In the past 5 weeks she has had urin test's,blood test's,pelvic exam which included cultures for std's.All theese came back normal.She also had 2 ultra sounds and a ct scan.Doctor's dont know whats wrong with her.She has been too sick to go to school and is probably going to fail tenth grade.We dont know what to do at this point.Please help.Keep me posted on your daughter's progress.

So sorry to hear that your daughter is suffering too, we are still waiting to see the specialist on the 31st of May I think they will do an MRI next.
I did a bowel cancer screening kit that I got from the chemist, over the weekend to rule out any bowel issues, should get the results in a week.
Your description was a mirror image of my daughters, it was as if you were talking about Riannon, she has had the pain now since the start of February, she had a ovarian cyst show up then, but it had dissapeared 2 weeks later, she had a period in February, but hasnt had one since, the pain is constant.
I ended up pulling her out of grade 11 at school because she hadnt been at all this term and would never be able to catch up, so she will go to Tafe college in July if she is well enough, and I didnt want her to stress out about the work so it seemed like the best thing to do.
I have a friend whose 18 year old daughter is having similar problems she goes for an endoscopy on the 12th so I will let you know what happens there in case it gives us any answers.
