18 Month Baby, Suffering From Recurring Cough, Cold With Spasm. Taking Medication. Suggestions?

18 month baby suffering from Recurring cough & cold with spasm
My son is suffering from severe cough & cold since he was 2 and half months old. Every time he gets effected, sounds comes out from his chest. Have to medicate with KIDPRED, MONOCEF, etc drugs. At the age of 15 months he was prescribed inhalers - "Budecort 100" two times daily (2 puff each time) and "Levolin 50" (at the time of attack). After this medication he was o.k for about 3 months, but again he got spasm. This time Dr. added "Kidpred", azithral and "Monocef O". I consulted one more doctor and he advised to continue "Budecort 100", "Livolin 50" and "Montelair 40" for 3 months. Please let me know whether the treatment is in right direction and the side effects of these drugs.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Recurrent infection with whistling sound during breathing,
running nose,
watery eyes,
sneezing ,
mucus of and on from nose.
These above mentioned symptoms are a most common characteristic features of allergic bronchitis in children.
If infection is added than there develops fever , otherwise common complaints are running nose and redness over face.
When child attain 15 -16 years age symptoms goes away in most of cases.
The worrying parents consult doctors one after others.
Only simple bronchodilator with potent antihistamine is sufficient treatment.
Consult a nearby specialist and get in treatment and relax.

Mite, pollen ,hay, grass dried, sudden change in temperature, humidity, spray. fumes, smokes all are predisposing factors of this disease.
Hope I have answered your question.
If further any question I will help.
Good luck for your child.
