Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Pain with swelling may not be cancer and at your age it is quite rare. With the family history of Ca breast , you have the genetic risk for it. Now you are feeling lump with pain, also look for any minor swelling in axilla or in the surrounding, any inflammatory signs around the swelling. so get done evaluated for it: complete hemogram once and mammography to know the cause for lump. It may be benign mass or any enlarged infected gland also. Consult your doctor for examination once to see the signs of any cancer or due to any other problem and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Hi,
Any pain or lump in the breasts should be evaluated.
Consult Gynaec and get your both breasts thoroughly examined physically.
She may go for Mammography.
After examination and investigation, line of treatment can be decided.
Ok and take care.
