19 Year Old, Suffering From Chronic Migraine, Bruises On Leg. Taking Medication. Solution To Reduce Frequency And Intensity Of Migraine?
hello i am a 19 years old lady , i have chronic migraine , and i almost have attacks 4 days per week , i take relpax 40 mg or imigrane 50 mg to reduce the pain but it takes so long for an attack to be cured. i really want to find a solution to reduce the frequency and intensity of my migraine. one more thing is that i have found bruises on both legs and i was wondering if this has anything to do with migraine medication overuse ?
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I like your scientific approach. Prevention of migraine attacks is the best therapeutic option. There are various alternatives for reducing the severity and frequency of migraine headaches. These include tablets such as beta blockers, divalproex, topiramate and flunarizine. Botox injections are another option.
Bruises could be related to medication overuse.
