Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
2 days ago I woke up with a pain in my upper back on the right side. I thought maybe I put a rib out of place. The pain proceeded to work up to my neck and even some pain above my ear. I called the medical masseuse and she said my pelvis was rotated and she also said I had some fluid at T6 , just lateral (inferior angle of scap) area of about 1" in width and 3"long. It was and tender and painful on palpation. Anyway, she suggested I see my doctor because it was new and it felt like a bruise. That was where my pain originated. It was not a rib out of place. So, I called my doctor and cannot get in for 10 days. She thought I should be seen sooner in case they want to pull some of the fluid out for testing. What do you think? Do you think I should try a different doc or just see how it goes over the next 10 days. I leave for 6 weeks right after the appointment and then I have a knee scope scheduled
