2 Year Old Having Vomiting And Loose Stools. Swallowed A Coin. Are These Related?
My 2 year old swallowed a penny on thurs took him to the hospital took X-ray . Mon morning took him in to his pedi and we did another X-ray . Still there so today he has vomit only once and had 1 lose stool . Plus since fri he has been conjugated so my Question is the vomiting and lose stool is that the cause of the penny?
Penny is unlikely the cause of vomiting and loose stools. It has been nearly 10 days that your son swallowed the penny.
There can be a number of reasons for diarrhoea and vomiting. In case they persist it is advisable to consult your doctor. In the interim you can give your son plenty of oral fluids like lemonade, coconut water, oral rehdyrating solution (ORS), etc. so that he does not get dehydrated.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
