Hi,
Noted the history about your daughter diagnosed and under treatment for
tuberculosis of cervical lymph nodes well diagnosed by FNAC, initial 2 months was give AKT 4 and now shifted to R-cinex, started pain in abdomen and vomiting, liver function being normal.
Yes, consult your local Doctor for proper clinical evaluation, examination and have investigations for the pain in abdomen and vomiting.
The commonest cause I can think about the symptoms are tuberculosis of intestines which get scarified with treatment.
Also get an opinion of a
General Surgeon trained in intestinal surgery.
CT scan of abdomen with enteroclysis can help a lot.
Upper GI Endoscopy for
esophagitis and gastritis and if present additional treatment with a PPI like
Omeprazole can help a lot. Other symptomatic treatment can be had with
Domperidone.
Review tests of blood for liver functions, kidney function can help.
She has to continue with treatment for tuberculosis as would be advised for further months.
High protein diet, correction of anemia can help a lot for early recovery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
