2 Year Old Son, Bleeding From Nose After Falling, Nose Bone Not Straight. Treatment?

hii my son is 2 years old .. he fallen down from stairs then he had blood from his nostrils (rightside) after 2 or 3 days i saw his nostril was not normal there was no space so i went to ent specialist he told me that his nose bone is not straight .. can you kindly guide me that what precautions can i do for him as he is only 2 years old .. and further treatment ???

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

I would like to know if the ENT specialist ordered some investigations. The nasal septum is a membranous partition in a young child and there is no chances of it being broken. However the septum can be deviated to one side which is very common and can occur even without any injury. I suggest that you can wait and observe over the next 2-3 weeks. There is no management that is required at present.
