2 Year Old With Fever, Itchy Reddish Spots On The Arms. Allergy Or Chicken Pox?

Hi,

My 2yrs old daughter have a fever for 3 days already. We consult a doctor because we see small red dots in her skin specially in covered parts like under-arms. This red dots is very itchy and I'm was thinking if it's a chicken pox or a Rubeola but she dont have cough nor flu. Last night my daughter is complaning her gums she says it hurts and she always pin pointing it. I already giving her a calpol for her fever. I want to know if this is a allergy or chicken pox or rubeola.

Hello'
Thanks for visiting HCM
For skin rashes due to chickenpox and measles -Usually NO ITCHING. Moreover the rashes are widespread ,not under covered area.
hence the itchy skin rashes are due to allergy or some small insect bite.
