2 Years Ago I Had My Thyroid Removed Because Of

2 years ago I had my thyroid removed because of a non cancerous tumor and Graves' disease. I am seeing and endocrinologist every 6 months for a check on levels. I can tell when my body is "off." But, unfortunately my levels say "I am normal." I have not felt normal since my thyroid was removed. I have been doing research and have read many articles showing synthroid or levothroxine won't do the job on their own. I am headed back to my specialist in a week and I want her to add T3 to my medications. What can I do to convince my dr to try this with me?
