2012 Had Gall Bladder Surgery. A Few Days Later Had
2012 had gall bladder surgery. A few days later had PE. On blood thinner for a year. 2013 Taken off of Warfarin. less than 3 months later dvt. Back on blood thinner. 2014 Hip replacement. Since then I don't have pain walking but I can walk only 0.75-1.0 mile at one time before legs get tired and tight. Initially to the replacement hip leg would be sore. But my main problem was a few months after the hip surgery. When I would stand my lower legs would get tight a little unstable, some light headed and have to hold on to something. It was better if I kept moving. At the time I was also dealing with some low blood pressure. More recent i find it difficult to even walk a few blocks without getting winded and tight legs. I vary the intake of my water pill (Hydrochlorothiazide) every other day typically to keep my pressure in the normal range. I am overweight at 332 lb. High weight 380 in 2010 when I started to lose weight got down to 280 when I had the gall stones. Got down to 270lbs 2014 when I had the hip replacement. Started gaining back even though I changed nothing. Past fall I saw an endocrinologist and found I had high Prolactin and low testosterone. Taking Caergoline which seems to be correcting those levels. Hoping it helps in muscle delopement by lifting and working out to help speed up my metabolism (Metabolic center said i am at least 15% slow) So besides my struggle to lose weight, one of my biggest hurdles is trying to walk more and getting rid of this tightening of the legs.
