21 Weeks Pregnant, Vomiting, Acid Taste In Mouth. Precautions?

I m 21 weeks pregnant and last night I threw up from eating popcorn... Well I had about three chunks of red in my throw up but I m not sure what it was. I didn t taste blood just a punch of acid :/ I m worried for my baby s sake but my mom said if I didn t taste blood not to worry. Can you tell me What measures I should take and if everything us okay?

Hello

Welcome

During pregnancy blood in vomitings is usually from stomach and it is not bright red but brownish red and mixed with food.If it is from lungs , it is of bright red colour and not mixed with food.
You should not take spicy food , drink cold milk.Take an antacid gel like Digene.
For vomitings tablet Doxylamine is safe but should be taken under doctor's guidance.
Do not eat junk food
If still persists consult a physician.
Best wishes
