27 Years. Female. Difficulty In Achieving Orgasm During Sex. On Methadone And Mirena. Sexually Active. Help
Hello I am a 27 year old women. I am currently on two medications one: methadone 120 mgs/daily two: the 5 yr mirena. My husband is also prescribed methadone 12 mgs/ daily. Our sex life is still current. The problem is that I don't get 100% satisfied and he has no problem. The problem is myself. I like it, want to do it, but I don't seam to finish. When I say this I mean that I never go 100% (don't orgasm) It feels good even great sometimes but lately its just not working. Yes we have tried different things. Could there be something wrong with my body? Is there a medication that could help? I feel very uncomfortable talking about it but I m at the point that I do not know what to do. PLEASE HELP
Hi, You are having mirena paced 5 years ago, it should be replaced every 3 years, other wise there is possibility of infection. So try to exchange it with a new one. You are using methadone 120 mg daily , it can cause the nervous system week, and hence loss of libido. You consult your doctor for tapering the dose and stop the drug, so that you can have your vigour. Thank you.
