[28/Aug/15] I was diagnosed with GERD around 28/Aug/2015 and I was on Omiprezole 20mg (2 times)
[15/Sep/15] All Acid relfux symptoms got reduced by 15/Sep, but I started noticing Slurred Speech (initialy rarely)
[4/Oct/15] I started noticing Slurred speech (tough kind of sticky unable to move). This symptom is increasing whenever I have the food and reducing after 30mins and repeat 'every time' I have food
[15/Oct/15] Reduced Omeprezole to 20mg only once a day (from twice a day)
[15/Oct/15] Consulted ENT Doctor, Neurologist and nothing obvious they could see. GI doctor planned a endoscopy.

Currently I have slurred speech whenever I have food. Also burping at time (when hungry).

In one forum I reach overdozing omeprezole might cause slurred speech. My doctor said it's safe to take and I am taking it for last 2months.

My main question is what's causing slurred speech. Is it a side effect of GERD? Or due to over doze?
