3 Days Late Periods, Headache, Nausea. Had Intercourse 2 Weeks Before Periods. Chance Of Pregnancy?
I got my last cycle about 3 weeks ago it came 3 days late which is very un-normal for me however im about a week away from my next one and I get a very bad headache about the same time every day and then about an hr later I get nauseous. The last time I had intercourse was about 2 weeks before my last cycle . What is the liklyhood im pregnant
Hi, Since you had a normal cycle after your intercourse, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. The cause of your headache could be hormonal, a premenstrual symptom. Yet, if you wish to exclude/confirm pregnancy now, you can get the serum beta-hCG levels measured. Else, you can wait for your next cycle and if you miss it, go for a home pregnancy test 3-7 days later with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. The abnormal bleeding may be due implant of ovum? As you stated that intercourse date was 14 days ( 2 weeks) before period ( regular date). Chance of pregnancy is very much as this intercourse date collide with ovulation date in normal circumstances. Wait for 7 days after menses date ( delay)and get a pregnancy test ( home) for confirmation. Nausea and headache may be an early sign of pregnancy. lemon juice with tepid water will provide some relief . Still don't take any medicine. Good luck. Dr. HET
