Hello ,
your anxiety is normal .
Human breast milk is very good for almost all eye disorders . You can instill your breast milk in both of your baby's eyes without any hesitation . Its not going to cause any harm in any form . 2 drops in each eye while every breast feed . i strongly recommends this.
Apart from this cover your baby's normal eye with soft cotten piece and keep the affected eye open . Do this thrice in a day for 15 mins everytime.this exercise will help affected eye muscles to gain strength .
i wish your baby fast recovery .

hi
welcome to Hcm
thanks for your query
your concern is normal
squint is misalignment of visual Axis of eye, and usually at birth this is properly aligned
my sincere advise is to visit nearby ophthalmologist as some time it is due to paralysis of optic nerve
so do not overlook visit near by ophthalmologist ,
and let me tell you, as squint is the ailment of eye movement , i do not think any medicine will help it
exercise for extra ocular muscles can help it
wish your baby good health

1. squint (strabismus) is normal upto the age of 3 months, and thereafter it is termed as convergent squint.
2. is there family history of the same i.e. any family member wearing glasses from an early age?
3. at his age, medical treatment which is best for him is Ophthalmologist opinion.
4. because problem lies with muscle, surgical correction is an ideal choice because if not treated early will develop into ambylopia which cannot be corrected.
5. in mean time give yellow color fruit-drinks and vegetables: pumpkin, papaya, mangoes, yellow squash, carrots, cantaloupes, yellow of egg.
