3 Months Old Have Milk Absorption Problem. Is There Any Thing To Worry About It ?

What causes my formula fed baby(3 months old) to have lage amounts of curd in it? He has been like this since starting on a milk formula. My other two children were on soy formula for 1) milk alergy, and 2) milk intolerence. Should i be concerned. he seems to be fine other than the curds.

Passing curds after intake of milk is a normal event, since baby's stomach has an enzyme called rennin, which converts the milk lactose to a curdy substance, It is not right to imagine that this is abnormal or that it needs any form of treatment, The important thing would be to check if the baby is putting on weight normally (usually 1.5 to 2 pounds per month) and if the baby has any other gastric problems like gassiness, a lot of hiccups, or excessive crying due to the indigestion of milk. If these problems are absent for the most part, your baby is normal and needs no further care.
