My 3 year old son has high liver enzymes. One read can back over 3000 and one over 5000. So far they checked is Insulin growth hormone, vitamin levels. Looked for infection and mono. Everything is normal. He was having stomach pain on the right side and started having accidents (which is very unlike him) and withholding unless I forced him to set and have a bowel movement . X-ray showed alot of stool. (he goes regularly I make him sit every day and bowel movements are fairly large and not hard) I m having trouble getting answers from the Ped as to what we should do about the liver enzymes. I m suppose to give him Milk of Magnasia every night for the stool issues. He is a fairly good eater until recently. The blood work was initially done becasue he had a cold he wasn t shaking and was complaining of being tired and just not him. Any help where we should be looking to find out the cause of the liver enzymes?
