Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
3 year old daughter was giving a "papaw" a hug, tripped, hit wheelchair. Initially I thought she hit her mouth so I began checking teeth and her mouth. Found a small skin abrasion under her chin. Lightly red. Daughter cried instantly. Gave her a chocolate bar (watched her chew and move jaw). She had no issues. Continues to hold jaw and say "It hurts mommy". Sucking thumb to console herself, no pain from that noted. Quite a bit of a hypochondriac especially since I work in the ER. Should I have her seen in case of small fracture?
