3 Year Old Having Cough With Congestion. What Is The Cure?
Hi, my 3 yr old son is having severe cough, especially when he sleeps(noon & night). Initially it was dry cough, I gave Ambrolite D, 2 doses of 5ml morning & night. Now it sounds like cold cough with congestion. He breathes heavily like stuffed nose in sleep. Plz help.

I think your son is having upper respiratory infection which is viral in this season so Iwould suggest you to start him on Ambrolite S 5ml three times a day for 5 days and Sup Alaspan 5ml twice daily for 5 days. Nasoclear saline nasal drops 2 drops to each nostril for 5-6 times a day and you can also give him plain steam inhalation. If the cough is not subsiding in 3 days time better to see pediatrician for further course of action. Hope this answers your concern
