3 Year Old Having Nose Bleeding, Fever, Running Nose And Tickling Sensation On The Toes. Causes?
My son 3 yrs complains of his toes tickling . He just recently has had a running nose , high tempts, and complaining that he is cold . He has been like this for two days . He Woke up tonight with a nose bleed but he seems to get these often. He s had probably 2-3 in the last 3 mnths with no symPtons of feeling I ll they Are just randomly happening . I m concerned about why his toes are ticking and these nose bleeds please help.
Repeated nose bleeds need to be examined and investigated. In children the most common cause of nose bleed is picking of the nostrils. Application of a bland ointment on the nasal septum should give some relief.
The tickling sensation of the toes need a complete neurlogical work up for which I suggest that you consult your doctor.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Nose bleeding is common in children and commonest causes are.
-nose picking
-trauma
-infections
-foreign body
Apply ice pack over his nose when there is bleeding and apply presurre over nose for 5 minutes.
Use paraffin drops so as to prevent dryness and local application of mild steroid is needed.
Regarding toes tickling it needs to be examined.anemia needs to be ruled out.
I suggest you to get your child evaluated by pediatrician for recurrent nose bleeds .
Wishing your child good health.
God bless.
