Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

It is very common for children to have repeated upper respiratory tract infection at this age. Most of the time they are viral in origin and may take a week to get controlled. As the investigations are normal I suggest that you can wait. You shall have to have some patience.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Fever could be because of various reasons.
It could be because of respiratory infection, throat infection, malaria etc.

The description of alternate day fever suggests me of malaria.
Was a peripheral smear for malaria done?
Does your baby have any chills with fever?

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
