Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

If a child has cough and fever of more than 14 days he should be definitely investigated further.

Does he have rapid breathing, chest indrawing, weight loss?

What do the other investigated say?
Was a TLC, DLC, ESR, Mountoux test done?

Please reply in detail so that we can help you better.

Hope this helps.

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for choosing H.C.M.Forum.
Your 3 year old son had fever, cough and vomiting. with medicines, recovered little bit, X ray show bilateral hilar shadow, and para hilar markings prominent.
It appears to be the primary complex, that is tuberculosis of the child hood. It needs to be treated with anti T.B.drugs for a fixed period of time.
As you are already under treatment don't worry, with treatment for few days he will get full relief and then he has to continue the drugs till the course is completed, so that he may not get recurence.
Wishing him a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
