30 Weeks Pregnant. Blood Test Done, Showing Hemoglobin Levels. What Is The Ideal Range During Child Birth?
I am 30 weeks pregnant(8th month)and I had a blood test last week that is haemoglobin test, it is 9.8 g/dl .I want to know exactly what should be the normal range of haemoglobin at this stage.9.8 is normal or less?I also want to know what is the maximum haemoglobin required during delivery.please doctor can you tell me as soon as possible.thank you.

11-12 g/dl is the desired range. but your haemoglobin is not too bad. it depends on your treating obstetrician as to how he/she will be dealing with this if at all. Usually iron supplementation is started during pregnancy along with folic acid. if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
