33 Years Female. Bulged Stomach, Menstrual Pause Since 4 Months, Weight Gain, Non Pregnant.
Hello Doc, I haven't had my period for about 3 months now going on 4 months. My stomach feels bloated and I am gaining a few pounds also. My stomach is also growing and I don't think I'm pregnant because I have 2 kids, age 12 and 8 and don't have any same symptoms when I was pregnant with them years ago. I'm 33 years old now and don't know what's going on with me. I was a very active person but now I'm always feeling tired and lazy. Is it cause of my age? Anyway, people think I'm pregnant but I don't think so. I haven't been to the doctors yet but would love to hear your advise!! Please help enlighten me with this problem cause I'm worried and also curious!!
PS. I'm very new to this online question/answer site!!
Hi and welcome to HCM,thank you for your query. i dont think this is something serious an probably there is hormonal imbalance and you should do gynaecologic work up to check your hormones and reproductive organs. Also, check your thyroid levels since it can be the reason too. I am sure it can be easilty treated when the right cause is found. Wish you good health. Regards
