4 Weeks Ago I Had Blunt Trauma To Ribs R)

4 weeks ago I had blunt trauma to ribs R) side - dog pulled my off my bike & I collided with metal railing. X-Ray same day showed no fracture but Dr said often hairline ones don't show. Main site is at the front under the breast area extending up to arm pit. Pain relief - paracetamol, ibuprofen and sometimes paracetmol/codeine. I cut back on meds, OK for 2-3 days, now pain worse ie. coughing, bending over. Is this normal. I'm female, 51yo generally good health 166cm 79kg
