hello ,welcome to healthcare magic.com
As you have written you child gets recurrent episodes of cough n cold, this could be due to allergic in nature and children very often get wheezing and sneezing as manifestation of respiratory allergy.
In this situation use of montelukast and levocetirizine combination syrup or dispersible tabs are useful for 1-2 months and inhalers as advised to your child will definitely useful and they are safe under experts care. Also you can get your child vaccinated by anti flu vaccine every year in june-july.This will provide protection from flu infections.
All the best and continue the therapy.
Hi
Thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
Relax, inhalers are totally safe.It is only a mode of delivery of drug in which very less amout of medicine is required compared to other routes and medicine directly reaches its target organ that is lungs and so has negligible side effects.
Regarding his problem usually allergic problems decrease in intensity as child grows.
Avoid allergen and be in regular follow up with your doctor regarding management.
