Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

The enzymes being raised in the Liver function test indicates a liver injury. The normal Bilirubin could rule out recent infection i.e Enzymes raised with normal biliruibin could indicate that the liver injury is of chronic reason.

Next the doctor would investigate for infections, metabolic reason or autoimmune reason for injury.

I would suggest at present you should not panic but get your son thoroughly investigated to rule out the reason for injury.

Regards
Take care.
