4.5 Months Baby Has Green Stuff Coming Out Of Ears, Stuffy Nose. Is It Wax Overflow ?
My baby has green stuff coming out of his ears.. he is 4.5 months old. Dr said that his eardrums are fine, but we should look out for any gooey substance coming out.. he is very cranky when we try to feed him or put down for nap. His nose is a bit stuffy and I have been using a saline solution to suck out the goo. Could the wax overflow be because of that?

Its not like a wax overflow but like a leaky ear due to stuffy nose causing rising pressure… often drum looks fine once leak setd in…
Treating the stuffy nose with antihistaminics may help crankiness… do discuss same.with your doctor.…
If it hurts even in sleep… you may get the pus examined under microscope…
Most doctors may start antibiotics too in such cases.

Wax is not green. Wax is not thin enough to flow out.
As the child is irritable and has a blocked nose - middle ear infection has to be ruled out.
When there is obvious discharge, take the child to the doctor - he can examine and decide what it is
Do NOT apply anything to the ear!
Normal Saline applied to the blocked nose will help
