5 Year Old Child, Allergy, Swollen Lips, Back Of Head, Itching, Rashes On Body. Dust Allergy?
Hello Doctor, My son is 5yrs old. He is confirmed with allergy in his body by blood test. He has the problem of swollen lips. what wud be the next step to find out which allergen created this. Suddenly y'day night he had itching all over the body and rashes appeard all over the body. Even on back of the head it got swollen. He has lying on the bed without wearing a shirt. Is it because of dust mite/or dust. I am bit afraid.can u pls guide us?

this is fine that in blood test u found positive for allergy . as u did nt mention the name of test , what i think u had complete blood count (CBC) in which eosinophil level was found to increased .
if this is right , and your baby is giving symptom of allergic reaction
first give anti allergic medication to get relief .
apply calamine lotion for soothening .
incrase intake of water .
avoid to expose in more humid and warm climate .
clean and dry body properly .
than you can go for test to find out allergen . in this test your baby will exposed to different allergen and u will come to know which is causative allergen.
