53 Year Old Having Green Discharge. What Could This Be?
For the past month...I thought I was seeing a change in the normal discharge...I am 53 years old, in the throws of menopause (havent' had a cycle in months). But today, it was really green...and so I inserted a tampon and left it in for an hour or so, and when I looked at it, it was definitely green ~ I think I saw my doctor in the spring for a pap and it was normal.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. The green discharge is caused due to trichomoniasis and for this you need to get treated with metronidazole which is drug of choice it will be available in stores with the name of flagyl. It will help you to get rid of the infection and take the tablet after meals as it causes nausea. Thank you.
