62, Female, 180 Lbs. I Have A History Of Chronic

62, female, 180 lbs. I have a history of chronic cough. I have had vertigo for years and take 1 Benadryl every night to keep my ears clear of fluid. I occasionally will get a sore throat. I usually take 2 Benadryl and 2 Advil and the next day I am usually better. This week I have had a sore throat that won't go away. Started coughing the second day. Last night I was laying on the couch and started coughing. As I was sitting up, water gushed out of my mouth. I wasn't throwing up - it didn't come from my stomach. Where did it come from and why? It seemed like a lot of water and it was kinda slimy like it had phlegm mixed with it. It really was probably just a few ounces. A cup maybe.
