66 Years, Dryness In Mouth, Dizziness, Low BP. Taking Steroid. Cure For Symptoms?
I am 66 yrs. old and have terrible dryness of the mouth and get sometimes 20 episodes of dizziness a day. They happen most of the time when I go up any stairs or rise quickly from a sitting or lying down position. It has become very debilitating and keeps me from many normal activities. I normally have a low blood pressure. I always have. That is nothing new. A doctor put me on a steroid (Florinef) to help me retain fluid and it did not seem to work. I drink as much as anyone can in a day.

hi.. thanks for using HCM, you are 66 years old and now you are having increased thirst, dizziness.. you are on steriod from how long?, low BP.. you need to be investigated for diabetes mellitus with blood sugars, lipid profile, blood urea and serum creatinine, liver function test and serum electrolytes.. see your physician and for the management.. see also the ENT surgeon for ruling out vertigo problems.. all the very best..
