7 Month Old Child, High Fever, Dengue, Black Stools, Nose Bleeds, Low BP. How To Improve Immune System?
Hi DOCTOR, my cousin brother who is 7 months old has sever high fever for three days, and ishospitalized yesterday and has been found that he has dengue!! black coloured stool , light nose bleeding, low BP were the symtoms... doctors have told that he must be watched for other 48 hours! please tell whether he will be recovered? if yes, wat has to be done to improve his immune..please help us!!

As the diagnosis of Dengue has been made, there are certain warning signs that need to be looked for:
Severe abdominal pain, vomiting, change in temperature and mental irritability.
This is ominous and indicates Dengue shock syndrome. That is why a 48 hour period of observation is necessary in all cases of Dengue.
Your child already has significant bleeding in the form of black coloured stool and nose bleed.
Your child requires intensive monitoring in the intensive care with iv fluids and blood transfusion.
