7 Week Old Has A Lot Of Drainage/ Wax From Right Ear, Had Taken Medication For An Earlier Ear Infection. Treatment ?
My 7 week old has a lot of drainage/ wax coming out of his right ear. He had an ear infection at 2 weeks, 2 weeks after med. the infection remained. He was given a stronger med. for another 10 days. After that he became fussy again and now has lots of drainage from just that ear. Could he have another or ongoing infection?

Drainage from ear indicate on going infection. recurrence of the infectionmight be due to inadequate treatment first time.
My recommendation would be that consult ENT specialist and get physically examined.
