Hi there ~

I understand your concerns for your 7.5 month infant. It is sometime normal for infants to have a slight delay in their developmental milestones, it might be worth the wait for another month before you bring this concern up with a pediatrician. I am sorry about the hearing loss, but there are options and you do not need to be worried about it. There are many children with this disorder that have done well in the future. I am also glad that your infant's heart is good. However I recommend getting another MRI after about a month to rule out hydrocephalus. I hope this helps. I wonder if there are groups in your area where similar parents are joining together to discuss their ideas. A lot can come out of these groups.

I hope this helps. You child is not different, only differently-abled.

Take care and have a lovely day!
