8 Year Old, Eye Irritation, Blinking, Rolling Eyes. Allergic To Cat, Dog. Suggestions?

Hi my son is 8 years old. He has eye irriatation, blinking alot and in the last 4 days he is rolling his eyes alot. His teacher at school has noticed this as well. He recently in the last 2 weeks went to see his eye dr and she said to keep giving him eye drops and if he gets worse to let her know. My sons is allergic to cat and dog and at the time his allergist said don't get rid of them just make sure that they don't go in his room. As a mom I am thinking that it's not allergies? any ideas?

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM
Your child is known allergic. There are possibilities of being allergic to other household articles also like talcom powder soap, shampoos, perfumes, tinned food, eggs and so many unnoticed elements present in the vicinity of the child.
So one has to be little coutious.
It seems to be for me that this is allergy only. To be treated accordingly.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
