8 Years Old Feeling Sick And Difficulty To Talk And Breath, Having Pain In Chest. What Is Causing This Feeling?
my daughter is 8 yrs old and wt is 30 kg one morning she feels sick n difficult in talking and said she cant breath peoperly ,she feels so weak to walk also,she ask for water i gave her 1 drop of hot water she start complaining very pain in chest ,cramping in stomach also start wheezing we went emergency for giving asthalin noblizer after taking asthalin she find relif i wnat to know why she is complaing pain on chest, feeling difficult in breathing?
Your daughter is most likely suffering from asthma which may have been brought about by a bacterial or viral infection. You should get her basic investigations like routine blood counts and a x ray chest done. If possible get a PFT also done. Give her a course of antibiotics and nebulize her with asthalin and budecort. If situation demands, you may have to give her a short course of oral steroids. Once her acute symptoms are controlled, you may start her on montair 5 mgm and seroflo inhaler 100mcg strength twice a day. Inhalers can be given through a device called spacer.
