9 Month Having Acrodermatitis. Is It Contagious. Is It Airborne, Or From Saliva Or Just Touch?

My 9 month old grandson has been diagnosed with acrodermotitus, and they say it s contageous. I realize it is rare for adults to get, but my husband and I have broken out with little bumps/blisters on the palms of our hands and fingers. How is it contageous? Is it airborne, or is it from his saliva or just touch? What can we use to clear it up, as we do not have insurance?

hi i do not think acrodermatitis is contagious .it can be only due to zinc deficiency in the child and adults are not effected.i think u ands ur husband might have got acropustulosis rather than acrodermatitis.acrodermatitis can be cured with zinc supplementation and use of aloederm along with diprovate g ointment twice daily
