92 Years. Had Hip Replacement Surgery And Draining Blood From Brain. Prescribed Rancad, Flavedon, Porcat. No Heart Problem. Right Medication?

A 92 year old patient has just had hip replacement surgery and draining of blood from the brain (a subdural blood clot) successfully. Among the medications prescribed were Rancad, Flavedon and Porcat (may have the sp wrong for this). The patient does not suffer from heart problems? Why would she be prescribed these medications?

Hello

Thanks for the query Rancad and Flavedon are good drugs with a good safety profile, you can continue taking them. However I could not find what Porcat is, I am guessing it is Atorvastain in which case that is essential as well. Please continue all the medications.

I hope I was of help
