9th Month Of Pregnancy, Severe Itching On Stomach, Legs, Hands And Back. What To Do?

Hi.. my wife is in 9th month of pregnancy.. Here due date is in another 12 days. She is facing a problem of severe itching on stomach,legs and hands..some times on her back also. She is not able to sleep during the night for even an hour. Please let me know what I can do to reduce her itching..or some way to make sure she gets good sleep.

Hi, the itching could be due to stretch marks and their contraction. Other causes could be utricaria due to some allergen. So avoid doubt full things like fish.
I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe caladryl lotion for local application,and if it is still unbearable half tablet of citrizine when ever necessory. Thank you.
