A Doctor Has Suggested I Use Replens. I Am Not

A doctor has suggested I use Replens. I am not dry in the vagina. I have been before, I am not now. I am not in the menopause. A doctor suggested I might be going through a perimenopause but won't say for sure. Apparently the blood test that can be done to identify either way isn't done these days so I have to wait and see. I have an itchy labia and what I need is a safe moisturiser to use in that area. Emollients such as Diprobase and Doublebase don't seem to help me. Vagisil doesn't do an awful lot and neither does Aqueous cream E45 cream. Is it ok to use Replens when not dry? What moisturiser can you recommend that is safe for the labia area?
