Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A few days ago my fiance noticed that the tip of 5 month olds penis was red and a bit swollen. Yesterday was his doctors appointment and we asked the doctor what was the cause. She said his pee hole is too closed (too small) and that when he urinates, some urine gets left under his skin and that's why it gets red and swollen. She suggested a cream to make his uretha hole bigger, if that didbt work then we had to get him circumcised, or he would have complications in the future. We couldn't find the cream she suggested and every pharmacist we've been too didn't know what we were talking about. Our son isn't in any pain at all, he seems perfectly fine. We're not sure if we should let him be since he's not in any pain or get him circumcised. Is it normal not to be able to see his pee hole?
