A Few Years Ago (2012) As I Was Filling Out

A few years ago (2012) as I was filling out Christmas cards I suddenly realized I couldn't sign my name. Then 3 months later the right side of my face started to droop and my right hand could not grasp and hold anything heavy. My pointer finger and thumb are working ok. I can bend all my fingers but it's hard to pick anything up. I have had an EEG, EMG? which showed no nerve problems and 2 MRI's which showed a group of small strokes on the left side...the DR said this was normal for a person my age (72). I'm still wondering why all this came on so slowly and why. Currently the only meds I take are SYNTHROID                75 MCG     1 DAILY          HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE     125 MG          1 DAILY ASPIRIN ADULT LOW DOSE     81 MG          1 DAILY
