A Person Has Radiation Burn In Their Esophagus. Is It A Good Idea To Smoke Cannabis?
If a person has radiation burn in their esophagus is it a good idea to smoke cannabis? Won't that damage the esophagus more? The patient has Small Cell Lung Cancer which is not curable. Is this defeating the chemotherapy that the patient is having now? Should I even be worrying about this since their is no cure for SCLC?
Hello,You are right there would be a lot of discomfort and difficulty in swallowing while one smokes during radiotherapy. Small Cell Lung Cancer responds very well to chemotherapy and radiotherapy and in some patients early stage disease is cured by chemotherapy and radiotherapy combination
But if the disease progresses after treatment then it is not curable
