Hi,
Pain is an important and necessary symptom to diagnosis and usually associated with more than three times raised enzymes lipase or amylase.
Worth while getting a C T scan of the abdomen after consulting your doctor to confirm the diagnosis.
Only after confirmation can it be labelled as pancreatitis.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
