Hello, familybower,
With your history of fatigue, weakness and
elevated liver enzymes, it
souonds like you have some form of
hepatitis. I am not sure if the
hospital tests included these to rule out Hepatitis. Also, your blood
count, both red cells and white cells. You want to know how your
blood sugar was and your kidney tests. If you are having right
upper quadrant pain along with nause, vomiting, fever or chills,
we have to rule out
gallbladder inflammation and gallstones.
You might need a sonogram of your liver and gallbladder.
If you have very high lipd levels and have a
fatty liver , you may
also have
insulin resistance and tendency for diabetes which would
make it "Metabolic Syndrome" which needs treatment.
You can discuss all of these with your doctor. Auto-immune disorders
have to be ruled out as well. Make a list of all the medications both
prescribed and over the counter drugs including herbs and vitamins
and show it your doctor. This will help him to decide what further
work up needs to be done.
I wish you well.
