Abnormal Vibration In Heart, Sensitive To Loud Sound. Is There Any Treatment?
I , Madhusudan kaity (48) ,have an abnormal vibration of heart for one or two second and it occurs within an irregular interval of half an hour almost, sometimes of one or two hour. Besides this, my heart has become very sensitive to loud sounds. Nothing has been found in ECG. Please advice me to get rid of this situation. My cholesterol level is in normal stage since i am taking medicine of Atorvastatin group.
Irregular heartbeats need to be DOCUMENTED by ElectroCardioGram (EKG). Standard ECG records the electrical activity of the heart, for a few seconds. It can detect the arrhythmia occurring during that time only. If the episode occurs randomly or precipitated by a specific activity, one needs Holter or event monitor.
Anaemia / Anxiety / Alcohol / Tobacco (smoking) / Caffeine (too much tea, coffee, cola) / Fever / Infection / Pain / Stress / calcium, magnesium / Medicines like Phenylephrine used for ‘cold may be responsible.... / At times, abnormal nerve paths in the heart (bypass tracts) or disease of the conduction system may be responsible!
These beats are common and often may be normal. Yet it is advisable to have it investigated. The first step is to see a Cardiologist
Good luck Take care Wishing all well God bless
