About A Month Ago I Went To The ER For

About a month ago I went to the ER for pain on the left upper side of my stomach, bloating, and then pain into my chest and neck. They did a CT scan and found my spleen enlarged and said it was probably due to an ulcer. They prescribed me the "cadilac" (as they put it) of ulcer meds. I was on that for the month dosage. Now after being off the meds for a few weeks, my symptoms have come back again....with even more acid reflux and indigestion and pain in the left upper side(just under my rib cage). I have an appt scheduled to see a DR that mentioned she will be doing a scope down my throat to take a closer look at the inside of my stomach, etc. My question is....what could possible be going on? This reflux/indegestion and excess gas and pain is really starting to affect my daily living. Thanks
