Ache In The Left Rib Cage. Could This Be Due To Uterine Fibroid?

I am 41 and have been experiencing a dull ache in my left rib cage area, seems to be under my left breast, lower rib, middle back...all on left side. I do have a large 8cm fibroid and have a feeling that the ache may be associated with it. I feel that it may be my spleen. Is there any association between uterine fibroids and the spleen?

Hi,
There is no association between uterine fibroids and the spleen. The pain you are currently experiencing may be orthopedic as bone density tends to decline at this age and the symptoms usually disappear with nutritional supplements. You should see a physician who can guide you for further support. A fibroid may cause pain when it gets twisted or occluded. A sonogram can be conclusive. Hope this helps. Take care.
